This Privacy Policy outlines how Preventative Health™ (“we,” “our,” or “the School”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information from individuals (“Students”) who engage with our learning platform and courses. This Policy applies to all offerings within the Preventative Health™ curriculum and to all associated features, services, and communications provided through the School.
Preventative Health™ is developed by Effect Therapy Health Centre and operated by Effect Health, which maintains full responsibility for the stewardship and protection of Student information.
Personal Identification Information
We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including—but not limited to—when they enroll in a course, submit a form, sign up for communications, or engage with course materials and support services. Information collected may include a Student’s name, email address, and other relevant contact details. Additional data such as progress tracking, course completion, and learner preferences may also be recorded in the normal course of platform use.
Students are not required to provide personal information unless they wish to access course features that depend on it. Some content may be accessible anonymously, although full participation may be limited without basic identification and consent.
Use of Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to provide educational services, support learner progress, and enhance the overall experience of the Program. More specifically, we may use personal information to:
- Enroll Students in selected courses and manage access
- Deliver lessons, resources, and support content
- Respond to Student inquiries and provide timely assistance

If a Student provides consent, we may use the email address supplied at enrollment to send program updates, optional course materials, event announcements, or wellness-related insights. Students may unsubscribe at any time by using the opt-out link included in each message.
We will never send unsolicited marketing or promotional emails without consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade Student personal identification information with outside parties. Access to personal data is limited to internal staff or contracted service providers who require it solely for the purpose of delivering School services or fulfilling legal and operational responsibilities. By enrolling in Preventative Health™, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use or enroll in the Program. Continued participation after updates are published will constitute acceptance of the modified policy.
